Embodying NVC by using the Dance Floors is so effective for me because all my senses are activated. Awareness and presence come naturally to me when ”dancing” my inner life out from card to card. The consciousness of what I am doing/living/experiencing right now is right there at my feet. Literally.

Another reason is that I had a taste of the Dance Floors at a workshop with Shona at the IIT in Sweden in 2025 and since then I have been working with Shona in various NVC contexts and have always experienced trust, deep acceptance and ease with self-connection in her company. I am really looking forward to September 18th. The way in which she accompanies people supports depth and integration. Barry Jones, CNVC Certified Trainer

”I attended Shona’s training in 2024. It was my first more systematic exposure to NVC Dance Floors. I loved how experiential it was; of course, we put every dance into practice right away. I still cherish the memory of how we explored the dances together with Shona and how many warm and heartfelt connections we created. It was one of those trainings you never forget. It inspired me to continue using the methodology in my everyday life, to explore it further, and eventually to translate it into my own language and share it with others.” – Polona Siter Drnovsek, CNVC Certified Trainer

“NVC Dance Floors have deeply transformed the way I live and understand NVC. For me, it’s become a powerful path toward self-awareness and a way of embodying the NVC process more fully. Being guided by Shona Cameron was a truly meaningful experience that will stay with me, both personally and in my role as a trainer. I learned so much from her and I deeply appreciate the clarity, gentleness, care, and goodwill she brings into the spaces she holds. By the end of February 2004 I had spent 10 days with Marshall at the top of a mountain in Switzerland and I determined in myself to be like one of those NVC Trainers he was working with. I loved the ease of connection between them all, the fun and the depth-a delicious combination for me. I immediately found the NVC community in the UK and spent as much time as possible learning with them and other trainers around Europe and also the US. I became a Certified Trainer in 2006 and since that time have shared NVC both publicly and within my role as an Educational Psychologist. As part of my training I worked extensively with Gina Lawrie, one of the developers of the Nonviolent Communication Dance Floors. This Visio spatial way to integrate NVC is the main way I share this practice as the structure offers a clear grounding in the principles without losing the core of this work.”
https://www.shonacameron.com/

“Shona has a remarkable ability to break the process of building an honest connection with another person into simple steps-starting with an honest, empathetic connection with oneself-and then teach participants the take-home skills to do this themselves.”
Andrew Layman Programme Manager, Bellevue, WA, USA

Organisers:

Kristiina Krank is a certified trainer in Nonviolent Communication (NVC) with over 30 years of experience in healthcare.
