NVC Coaching
NVC Coaching
Whether you long to listen to your needs better, manage emotional reactions, set healthy boundaries or be more genuine, coaching can help you see new possibilities for positive change. The aim of Nonviolent Communication (NVC) is to help us develop our capacity for interpersonal relationships; to get in touch with ourselves that can contribute to better relationships and co-operation in your home and professional life.
What is contact-making communication?
Nonviolent Communication (NVC) can be seen as a way of communicating in which the parties focus on establishing contact with each other. This contact can ultimately help to facilitate co-operation and enable joint solutions to be found to dilemmas and difficult situations.
The principles of Connective Communication aim to, and give us tools to, increase our awareness to discern observations, feelings, needs and desires in order to create good relationships instead of getting caught up in conflicts, demands, judgements and accusations.
Connective communication makes you aware of what is going on inside you and what is behind the sometimes difficult or painful behaviour of others. This allows you to understand what intention you are coming from when you communicate and understand why the other person is acting the way they are. Connecting with this realisation gives you more resources to deal with different situations.
Having studied and practised Connective Communication for many years, I have seen and experienced its transformative power in relationships - both professional and personal. Connective communication enables us to communicate and relate in a way that honours each other, our values and needs, increasing the chance of connection, understanding and peaceful and effective solutions.

Three Relationships
1. your relationship with yourself
We start with ourselves and transform critical and judgemental
thoughts to self-confidence and self-compassion.
You are inherently good.
2. your relationship with others
As we get more in touch with our authentic selves, our relationships change too. Together, we work to transform conflict into co-operation, distance into connection, and self-criticism into care.
You are part of the whole.
3. your relationship to meaning and purpose
Having a clear connection with your meaning and purpose is an important part of your wellbeing. With coaching, you gain more clarity about your own genuine self and the ability to act in a direction that gives you meaning.
You are making a difference.
Many indicate that they experience
after a few sessions:
~ Relief to be able to express things that weigh on them
~ Confidence to talk about difficulties
~ More joy after transforming self-critical thoughts
~ More clarity on how they want to make choices going forward
~ Transformed enemy images they have of others
~ More grounded and confident
~ Ability to care and compassion for themselves
